Snow. Peace.
On this cold, crisp, clear morning the pristine white snow shimmered as the sun appeared on the horizon. It would stay clean for just a bit longer.
At 7:00am New York City would get moving again. (All travel and transit was shut down yesterday, beginning at 2:30pm and would remain in effect until 7:00am this morning.) Today is Sunday, the day after the storm. Within 24 hours, 26.8 inches of snow fell in Central Park. It was the first snowfall of the season.
I have always loved the snow, and truly appreciate a good storm. It helps me slowdown a bit...take a moment to pause, reset and then move forward.
I hope it has allowed you to do the same.
Until next time.
